Road conditions in Grant County as of 1:35 pm Thursday, 12-19-24
Be advised the Grant County Highway Department has been out in full force all day today on the State Highways (numbered roads) as well as the County Highways (lettered roads).
The area township patrolmen have also been out assessing/plowing and putting product down to their protocols.
Be aware, however, the townships may have different rules and recommendations for how they plow and treat their roads with road salt or road salt-chip mix. Ultimately, take your time driving the snow events and allow the plow drivers enough space and time to make the roads safe for all.
** As you make your commute home today and this evening, use caution, slow down and keep plenty of space between you and the vehicle in front of you to avoid needing to brake quickly. **
