Dubuque County Fair – The holiday season has officially crept up on us and what a wonderful season (for SO many reasons) it is!

I wants to take the time to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about myself, The Dubuque County Fairgrounds & Event Center, and our 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 – because I feel like a lot of people can relate to it the way I so instantly did!

My name is Bri! I am 30 years old, born and raised in Dubuque, a mama of 1 𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑔 9-month-old baby girl, and I love all things artsy, colorful and creative. I love making people smile, and I love laughing! Making memories has been one of my 𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 things to do since I first discovered what a journal and a camera were- I never want to forget the important and joyous memories I made with the people I love most throughout the yeas – which is probably why I love photographs and videos so much!
Pair that with working here at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds & Event Center, and it is a really great match for 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 reasons!

Did you know the Dubuque County Fairgrounds is a 𝑵𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒊𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏? Many don’t know that, or they may confuse us with being affiliated with the county itself, but we are a Non Profit and rely on kind souls, generous hearts, and amazing partnerships to help make our little dreams (and county fair / events) 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞!

We can’t emphasize enough how much the community’s goodwill, kindness and support means to us. The impact of the contributions we do receive not only extends far beyond physical improvements or making county fair passion projects for the community to enjoy come to life, but also helps ensure the fairgrounds & event center remains a place where people of all ages can continue creating cherished traditions for generations to come, while providing a happy, warm and safe environment to boot!

At the heart of everything we do is a deep 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 for bringing our community together, especially during the holiday season when the value of family and connection feels even more important. We strive to create events that are not only fun but also family-oriented, where every age can find joy and share in unforgettable moments, including being a host for one of the most important days of your life; marrying your best friend. Our mission aims to build a space that fosters these connections, and we believe that the fairgrounds and event center we’ve worked so hard to build can be a lasting hub for community celebrations, big and small. As we continue to host these meaningful events, we are hopeful that the community will see the love and compassion we pour into every detail. Partnerships with our non-profit help us ensure that this space remains a place where families can gather, share, and celebrate for years to come.
