Update: The body was found in the watershed creek underneath the Rhomberg bridge around 9:22 this morning has been identified as 65-year-old Dale A. Heinze. The body has been sent to The Iowa State Crime Lab.

A body was found near Bee Branch Creek in Dubuque, Iowa, under the Rhomberg bridge. The discovery was made by Dubuque Police at 9:22 a.m. on Tuesday. Authorities, including the Criminal Investigators Division, are helping in the investigation and have determined that there is no threat to the public. Currently, efforts are being made to identify the deceased individual. Additional information will be provided as the story develops.
