We strongly advise that you do not answer or call the number provided (563) 220-4351 or provide any personal or financial information. Under no circumstances should you provide any money or payment of any kind to the scammer. The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office will never call you about a legal matter or ask for money.

To all Tri-State residents, the Dubuque County area is currently being targeted by a phone scam. The scammer advises there is a legal matter for the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, and then provides a number for you to call. The number, (563) 220-4351, has a voicemail that claims to be for some fabricated position at our office. Please be advised, this number is not affiliated with the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office in any way, so do not give them any of your personal information.
