Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a vehicle, crane crash at HWY 35/61 and Kelly Lane at 2:43 pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Dona M. Houston (81) of Potosi was traveling north in her 2012 Silver Kia SEDONA EX Van when she swerved right to avoid an oncoming vehicle. The van driven by Houston collided with a crane operated by Patrick J. Ryan (67) of Janesville. The van sustained heavy damage to the passenger side but could be driven from the scene. The counter weight of the crane was scratched. The work crew had orange traffic barrels on the road to direct traffic away from the crane. The incident did not result in any injuries.
