  • At 325 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Jones County Fairgrounds, or 10 miles north of Anamosa, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
  • Locations impacted include… Monticello, Cascade, Hopkinton, Langworthy, Canton, Jones County Fairgrounds, Fillmore, Pictured Rocks Wildlife Area, Fillmore Recreation Area, Camp Courageous, Scotch Grove, Temple Hill and Monticello Municipal Airport.
