Dubuque, IA – Three additional persons have been arrested today in connection with the February 7^th, 2023 shooting death of 31-year-old Lonnie E. Burns of Dubuque. 30-year-old Jermaine D. Bolds of Dubuque, IA,

16-year-old Tiarha D. Godwin of Maquoketa, IA, and 18-year-old Laniga G. Hannon of Dubuque, IA were all arrested earlier today. All three have been charged with 1st-degree murder and 1st-degree robbery. A total of four persons have now been charged in relation to this incident. The first arrest involved 24-year-old Aaron C. Johnson, of Chicago, IL who was arrested on February 23^rd, 2023, and charged with 1st-degree murder. This investigation is still ongoing, and additional charges are possible. Dubuque Police were assisted today by the Maquoketa Police Department.

Murder in the first degree is a class “A” felony punishable by life in prison. Robbery in the first degree is a class “B” felony punishable by no more than 50 years in prison.
