On 10/24/2022 the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch received a phone call reporting a one-vehicle rollover traffic crash, with injuries, on West Stagecoach Trail approximately 1⁄4 of a mile northeast of West Heller Lane, Galena. The driver of the blue 2005 Ford Mustang, Marcia Rager, was traveling eastbound on West Stagecoach Trail when she lost control of her vehicle due to slippery roadway conditions. Rager’s vehicle then veered off the roadway to the north and overturned as it traveled down a steep embankment.

The Galena Ambulance Service transported Rager to Midwest Medical Center. There were not any passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash. This crash remains under investigation.
