Grant County Deputies arrived and found Robert Goodman, age 27 of Boscobel, and Brandon Hocking, age 34 of Boscobel, at the property in Hickory Grove Town Ship.

The investigation showed Robert came to the property without permission to pick up some of his property. Robert forced entry into an outbuilding and took some property that belonged to the property owner. Robert was arrested and booked in the Grant County Jail on charges of burglary, criminal damage to property, theft, operating after revocation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brandon was released from the scene and there are no charges for him. Assisting at the scene was Wisconsin State Patrol.

Persons arrested/or referred to charges by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. An arrest is only an indication that probable cause exists to bring formal charges. The names of victims and witnesses to a crime have been withheld in accordance with §950.04.
