On Saturday, August 20, 2022, at approximately 1:40pm, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a one vehicle accident on State Highway 35/61 in Paris Township.

After investigation, it was determined that Kylie Luckey age 21 of Lancaster was operating a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu Northbound when she lost control of the vehicle after an equipment malfunction, crossed the centerline and struck the guardrail on the southbound side of the highway. Kylie had her seatbelt on at the time of the crash and denied any injuries.

The guardrail sustained significant damage and the car was towed by Bennett’s Automotive of Lancaster.
