Iowa DNR and Law Enforcement will be out looking for impaired boaters this 4th of July weekend.

The 4th of July weekend is one of the busiest boating holidays on Iowa’s waterways, and the Iowa

Department Of Natural Resources along with law enforcement, US Coast Guard, Iowa, and Corp Of Engineers will be conducting a special operation Dry Water starting July Second through the 4th of July to keep boaters safe. The Initiative is to stop impaired boaters.

Alcohol is one of the leading causes of boating accidents, injuring innocent bystanders.
