On June 2, 2022, at approximately 6:35 Jo Daviess County Deputies responded to Church Rd near North Rd located in the Township of Paris. Christen Bourgeois-Tebbe, age 49 from Dubuque, was traveling northbound on Church Rd in her 2017 KIA Sportage. Bourgeois-Tebbe was traveling too fast and could not negotiate a left-hand curve, and the vehicle went off the roadway to the east and through a fence line. Bourgeois-Tebbe’s vehicle came back onto the roadway, and Bourgeois-Tebbe left the scene and continued on to work. Bourgeois-Tebbe did not report the crash until the next morning. Bourgeois-Tebbe’s was not injured in the crash, but her vehicle did sustain disabling damages. Bourgeois-Tebbe was cited for Failing to Report a Crash to Law Enforcement.
