DUBUQUE, Iowa – On June 4, 2022, at approximately 6:58 p.m. Dubuque Police responded to 1913 Central Avenue for a report of shots fired. An adult male was transported to MercyOne Dubuque for treatment of a gunshot injury and was pronounced dead.
The name of the victim may be released in the next several days, pending next of kin notifications.
The investigation remains active.
