SEMI VS JEEP CRASH
On May 22, 2022, at 1:48 P.M., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office dispatched deputies to a two vehicle crash with minor injures, on Hwy 18 at Park Rd, Mount Ida Township.

The investigation showed Suzan Meyer, 52 of Prairie Du Chien, was driving her 2021 Jeep Wrangler west on Hwy 18. Ms. Meyer was towing a camper and was in the process of turning into the Wayside at Hwy 18 and Park Rd, when a semi, following is Meyer, attempted to pass the Jeep on the left. The semi struck the driver’s side of the camper and Jeep, causing disabling damage to the Jeep and camper. Ms. Meyer received minor injures and was treated and released at the scene.

The driver of the semi, Alfred Gloe, 52 of Circle Pine, MN, was driving a 2020 Freightliner semi, owner by SWIFT transport. Mr. Gloe was uninjured and the semi and trailer received minor damage.
Milo’s towing company removed the Jeep and camper from the scene, and the crash remains under investigation.
