On 05/04/22 at 1:06 a.m. the Jo Daviess County 91| Center received a report of a rollover UTV accident which occurred near 12254 Samantha Dr. rural Galena. Responding Deputies learned that a Polaris UTV, driven by Jonathan W. Miller, was driving on Samantha Drive. He lost control of the UTV, causing it to roll, ejecting Miller in the process. A female passenger, Katie M. Mcintyre, was not ejected. Both Miller and Mcintyre were transported to Midwest Medical Center via Galena EMS. transported Miller to OSF Saint Anthony’s Medical Center, Rockford, IL for further treatment of his injuries.

This accident remains under investigation.
