Devyawn Bostic has asked the court for a plea deal. In April 2021 Dubuque Police filed a criminal complaint against Bostic charging him with the following after sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl. Bostic was arrested in May and charged with 2 counts of sexual abuse in the 3rd degree, sexual exploitation of a minor cause to engage in action, Decimation exhibition of pornographic materials to a minor, purchase, and process deception of minor in sex an act first offense.

During the investigation, police found obscene pictures of Bostic and a 17-year-old girl on his cell phone device and in June, Bostic is arrested again for decimation exhibition of pornographic materials to a minor and purchase, and process deception of minor in sex an act first offense.

Bostics Attorney is petitioning the court to drop one count of sexual abuse 3rd degree and sexual exploitation of a minor as part of the plea.

The County Attorney is seeking for a Ten-year sentence, while Bostic is seeking probation.
