On February 4, 2022, at 11:25pm, Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of W. Stadel Road and W. Menzemer Road, for a single vehicle accident with injuries.

Upon arrival, they discovered Veronica Villarreal 35 of Bolingbrook, Illinois was traveling southeast on Menzemer Road attempting to turn east onto W. Stadel Rd. and spun out, ending up in the ditch causing damage. Villarreal was the only individual in the vehicle and was transported to Midwest Medical for treatment of injuries.

They charged Villarreal with failure to reduce speed, creating an accident.
