Jo Davies’s County, Illinois, Deputies made a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle Wednesday near Brown Road and HWY 20 .

Deputies identified the drive as Latornce Smith and that he had an outstanding warrant in Illinois for failure to appear in Jo Davies’s County Circuit Court. Deputies also learned the passenger James L. Harris had warrants for the same.

The Deputies arrested Smith and Harris for their outstanding warrants.

While searching Smith, deputies discovered 3 baggies of cannabis. During the search of the vehicle, they all so found an additional 1.019 grams of cannabis.

They hold Smith to bail on his warrant for failure to appear, unlawful possession of cannabis, speeding, and Harris is all so held to bail for his warrant.
