DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 26-year-old Dubuque man was arrested Wednesday on a felony theft charge.

Tanner Joseph Hittenmiller was taken into custody at 12:02 p.m. Sept. 9, 2026, at 770 Iowa Street, the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center. He faces one count of second-degree theft – all other larceny, a Class D felony.

Hittenmiller, listed in recent reports as residing at 2174 Clarke Drive, has faced multiple theft-related charges in recent weeks. Authorities previously arrested him in late August on two counts of second-degree theft and again in early September on a charge of third-degree theft. Both earlier arrests also occurred at the Law Enforcement Center.

No additional details about the circumstances of the Sept. 9 incident or the alleged value of any property involved were released in initial reports. Court proceedings in the matter have not yet been detailed publicly.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. All individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law.
