Strong winds from the northwest will begin to push into the area this afternoon, with sustained winds ranging from 20 to 30 mph through the afternoon. Gusts upwards to 40 mph are possible as well. Shortly after sunset, these winds will decrease to around 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph still possible.

Drivers of vans, campers, trailers, and other high profile vehicles should be extra cautious.
