On Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 8:05 A.M. the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Glen Haven Fire & 1st Responders, and West Grant EMS were dispatched to a Four-Wheeler crash on Dugway Road in Glen Haven Township.

The operator was identified as Justin Irish, age 38 of Bagley, WI. Irish had been traveling north on Dugway Road, the roadway is gravel. While he attempted to negotiate a curve, he lost control due to speed. Irish traveled into the southbound lane where he wasn’t able to gain control and hit a tree head-on Irsh was ejected.

Irish was not wearing a helmet however he had been wearing eye protection. Irish was transported to Grant Regional Hospital and later air-lifted to University Hospital in Madison. The injuries to Irish are unknown. The crash remains under investigation.
