DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 23-year-old Dubuque woman was arrested Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of animal neglect.

Kayon Zeaykiah Durrah-Davis was taken into custody at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center, 770 Iowa St., at approximately 10 a.m. on Oct. 7, 2026, according to arrest records.

She faces one count of Animal Neglect – No Injury/Serious Injury or Death, a misdemeanor. The charge indicates the alleged neglect did not result in injury, serious injury, or death to an animal.

Officer L.P. Trojanowski of the Dubuque Police Department handled the arrest. Durrah-Davis was released on a $300 cash bond.
