Dubuque County Road Notification: Higginsport Rd Paving Complete

DUBUQUE COUNTY, Iowa – The Dubuque County Secondary Roads Department has announced the completion of the second phase of paving on Higginsport Road.

The construction project, which began on Monday, July 27, 2026, officially concluded today, Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The 3.8-mile project covered Higginsport Road from just west of Bernard Road to Curoe Road, and continued along Curoe Road from Higginsport Road to Highway 151.

Officials confirm that the road is now fully open to traffic.
