Construction – Complete Road Closure

Effective: Monday, September 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.

Location: N Bankston Rd

Affected Segment: Approximately 0.82 miles, from Hickory Valley Rd to Kluesner Rd

Dubuque County has announced a full road and bridge closure on N Bankston Road for necessary bridge repair work.

The roadway will be completely closed at the bridge repair site for the length of the work zone. Motorists will need to use alternate routes while the project is underway.

Estimated Duration: 3–4 weeks, weather permitting.

Drivers are advised to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted detour and construction signs. Please exercise caution in the area and watch for workers and equipment.
