DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 31-year-old Dubuque man was arrested Monday evening on felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from an alleged threat of terrorism and first-degree harassment.
Mason Ozzie Simon-Ressler, was taken into custody at 8:55 p.m. on Sept. 7, 2026, at 2070 Jackson St. in Dubuque by Officer E.E. Hingtgen of the Dubuque Police Department. He faces one count of Threat of Terrorism, a felony, and one count of Harassment in the First Degree, a serious misdemeanor.
According to court records filed in Dubuque County, the State of Iowa has formally charged Simon-Ressler in case 01311 FECR165589. A criminal complaint was submitted by the Dubuque Police Department on Sept. 7, 2026.
