
The Dubuque Police Department released its monthly activity report for July 2026, showing increases across several key metrics compared with June 2026.
Calls for service rose from 3,374 in June to 3,678 in July, an increase of 304 calls (about 9%). Arrests climbed modestly from 215 to 226. Warrants served increased from 47 to 67. Citations went up from 453 to 516, written warnings from 155 to 202, and OWI (operating while intoxicated) arrests from 19 to 28.
The department notes that arrests include both custodial and non-custodial bookings. The figures do not imply guilt for any person arrested or cited.
These monthly totals reflect routine law-enforcement activity in Dubuque during the summer period. The full July report and prior months are available through the department’s public channels.
