Construction Update

Road: Oakland Farms Road

Location: Between Whitetop Road and Military Road

Project Length: Approximately 2.4 miles

Crews will begin a major culvert replacement project on Oakland Farms Road starting Monday, September 14, 2026 at 7:00 a.m.

Project Details

Four large culverts along this stretch of Oakland Farms Road will be removed and replaced. The road will be completely closed at each work location while the culvert work is underway.

Schedule & Duration

•  Anticipated start: Monday, September 14, 2026

•  Estimated project duration: 7–9 weeks (weather dependent)

•  Approximate time per location: About 2 weeks

Work will progress sequentially through the four culvert sites. Motorists should expect full road closures at each active work zone and plan alternate routes accordingly.

Drivers are advised to seek detours and allow extra travel time when using this corridor. Please watch for temporary traffic control devices and follow all posted detour signs.
