DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 62-year-old Dubuque man was arrested Wednesday evening on felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from an incident on Central Avenue and was later released after posting bond.

Michael Alan Arthofer, a white male, was taken into custody at 6:07 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2026, at 1959 Central Ave. in Dubuque, according to authorities.

Arthofer faces one count of criminal mischief in the second degree, a felony, involving alleged damage valued between $1,500 and $10,000. He is also charged with disorderly conduct involving fighting or violent behavior, a misdemeanor.

The arrest was made by Officer C.L. Holmes of the Dubuque Police Department.

Arthofer bonded out on a $5,000 cash bond.
