…EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT MONDAY…

• WHAT…A dangerous combination of oppressively humid and hot
  conditions with heat index values between 103 to 115 expected, with
  the highest values on Monday.
• WHERE…Portions of northwest and west central Illinois, east
  central, northeast, and southeast Iowa, and northeast Missouri.
• WHEN…Until 10 PM CDT Monday.
• IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.
• ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Little relief will occur tonight with low
  temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
