Dubuque, Iowa — Dubuque County officials have announced temporary delayed travel restrictions on several rural county roads this weekend due to the 53rd Annual Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI).

The popular multi-day cycling event will pass through rural Dubuque County on Friday, July 24, 2026, and Saturday, July 25, 2026. Cyclists and support vehicles are expected to occupy portions of county roads between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. each day.

Affected roads include:

•  Dyersville East Rd (24.67 miles)

•  Lansing Rd

•  Kramer Rd

•  Black Hills Rd

•  Prier Rd

•  Holy Cross Rd

•  Old Highway Rd

•  Seippel Rd

Motorists, including local residents, should anticipate delays and plan alternate routes during these hours. Emergency vehicles will maintain access as needed throughout the event.

RAGBRAI, one of the largest recreational bicycle tours in the world, draws thousands of cyclists from across the country and internationally each year.
