Dubuque, Iowa — The N Buena Vista Bridge Deck Overlay #2 Project has been completed. Construction ran from Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:00 AM to Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
The project affected a 9.27-mile section of Tollgate Rd. During construction, N Buena Vista Rd / Great River Rd was closed from Tollgate Ave to Great River Rd. The main roadway remained open where possible.
As of Friday, May 29, 2026, the closed section has reopened to normal traffic. Motorists should use caution and watch for any remaining construction equipment in the area.
