Dubuque, IA – A 19-year-old local woman was taken into custody early Friday morning on serious felony charges, including first-degree robbery.

Alyssa Marie Sharkey, a female resident of Dubuque, was arrested at approximately 12:37 a.m. on October 31, 2025, at 2263 White St. The arrest was executed by Dubuque Police Officer D.M. Lois, with booking handled by Officer S.A. Bockenstedt at 10:00 a.m. under arrest report AR 2025007285.

Sharkey faces two primary charges:

•  Robbery 1st Degree (Felony, Docket # FECR161692): Awaiting court appearance; cash bond set at $25,000.

•  Pretrial Supervision Violation (Misdemeanor, Docket # FECR161503): Awaiting court appearance; cash bond set at $5,000.

The total bond amount is $30,000 cash. Sharkey remains in custody at the Dubuque County Jail with no release date listed. Her next court date is scheduled for November 1, 2025.

Authorities have not released details on the circumstances surrounding the robbery allegation or the prior case tied to the pretrial violation. First-degree robbery in Iowa is a Class B felony, punishable by up to 25 years in prison, and typically involves the use or threat of serious injury during a theft.
