Narrative:

On October 10, 2025, at approximately 7:55 A.M., the Jo Daviess County Dispatch Center received a 9-1-1 call reporting a truck and trailer accident involving a house at 10146 W. Council Hill Rd., rural Galena, IL. Deputies arrived at the scene and determined that Keith Redfearn was operating a 2023 GMC 3500 pulling a cattle trailer when he suffered a medical emergency. This caused him to veer off the roadway, striking an unoccupied vehicle owned by Nery Grajaes Ayala. The truck then continued and collided with a residence belonging to Neil and Jodi Timmerman.

Keith Redfearn was transported by Galena Ambulance Service to Midwest Medical Center for treatment of his medical emergency and injuries sustained in the crash. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office has stated that the incident remains under investigation.
