Dubuque, IA – A 35-year-old Dubuque resident was taken into custody early Monday morning following allegations of breaking into a vehicle and committing a first-degree burglary.

Bruce Randy Rhondell Lee, was arrested at approximately 4:45 a.m. on September 22, 2025, at 770 Iowa Street. According to the Dubuque Police Department, Lee faces two felony charges: first-degree burglary for burglary and breaking and entering, and third-degree burglary specifically related to theft from a motor vehicle. Both offenses are classified as felonies under Iowa law.

The arrest was carried out by Deputy Z. Gehl of the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office

Lee is currently being held at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center pending arraignment on a $75,000 cash bond.
