DUBUQUE, IA – On August 25, 2025, at approximately 10:34 AM, Chamaar Devin Latrill Jones, a 19-year-old male resident of Dubuque, was arrested at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center, located at 770 Iowa Street. The arrest followed an incident leading to multiple charges, including drug-related offenses and a weapons violation.

According to the Dubuque Police Department, Jones faces three charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana (1st Offense), a misdemeanor; Controlled Substance Violation, a felony; and Persons Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons, a misdemeanor. The charges stem from an investigation conducted by local law enforcement, though specific details surrounding the circumstances of the arrest have not been disclosed at this time.

Jones was taken into custody and booked at the Dubuque County Jail, where a $7,000 cash bond was set.
