DUBUQUE, Iowa — On July 31, 2025, Dubuque police responded to two separate incidents in the 400 block of Loras Boulevard, resulting in arrests for charges including going armed with intent, domestic abuse assault, and criminal mischief.

At approximately 12:15 a.m., officers arrested Denona Ward, 45, at 483 Loras Blvd. Ward faces charges of going armed with intent, a felony, and simple domestic abuse assault, a misdemeanor. The arrest, documented under report number AR 2025005424, was handled by Officer E.E. Hingtgen.

Later that morning, at 3:45 a.m., Hannah Lea Swenson, 23, was arrested at 412 Loras Blvd. on a charge of criminal mischief in the fifth degree. The incident, recorded under report number LW 2025005422, was reported by Officer W.J. Yeo.

Police reports also identified two victims in related incidents. At 1:37 a.m., Laura Jean Sarazin, 61, was reported as a victim of going armed with intent in the 400 block of Loras Blvd. Officer M.J. Portz documented the case under report number LW 2025005424. At 3:18 a.m., Ashley A. Bradt, 39, was listed as a victim of fifth-degree criminal mischief in the same area, with Officer Yeo reporting the incident under report number LW 2025005422.
