Dubuque, IA – July 27, 2025 – The 72nd Annual Dubuque County Fair is going out with a bang today, as the Demolition Derby electrifies the fairgrounds at 14569 Old Highway Road. Kicking off at 6:00 PM, this high-octane event caps the weeklong fair with a spectacle of crunching metal and roaring engines, drawing hundreds of spectators to witness the ultimate test of automotive endurance.

The demolition derby, paired with the Julien Dubuque Classic stock car races, features around 60 vehicles—sorted by size and type—battling it out in a muddy arena slick from morning rain. Drivers compete with one goal: be the last vehicle moving.
