Bailey Foht plead not guilty to all charges in a written plea in June, a Jury trial has nice been set for September 16th, at 8:30 am.

On June 13, 2025, a criminal case, State of Iowa vs. Foht, Bailey Scott (Case: 01311 FECR160075), was filed in Dubuque County, as recorded in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). The charges arise from a fatal hit-and-run incident on June 12, 2025, at 6:38 p.m., when Dubuque Police responded to a car versus pedestrian collision at the intersection of Loras Boulevard and Locust Street.

Kalissa Reeder, 38, of Dubuque, was struck by a vehicle driven by Bailey Scott Foht, 26, of Dubuque, while crossing Locust Street against a red light. Foht fled the scene following the collision. Reeder was transported to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Foht faces three charges related to the incident: Count 1, Homicide by Vehicle – Operating Under the Influence, a Class B felony; Count 2, Homicide by Vehicle – Reckless Driving, a Class C felony; and Count 3, Involuntary Manslaughter.
