City of Dubuque offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. This includes City Hall and most other City facilities.
There will be no curbside collections (trash, recycling, yard waste, or food scraps) by City crews on Independence Day (Friday, July 4). These collections will instead be made on Saturday, July 5. Carts and bins to be collected must be set out by 6 a.m. This change only applies to residents whose regular collection day is Friday. All Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency facilities will also be closed on July 4.
The Carnegie-Stout Public Library and Multicultural Family Center will both close at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, and remain closed on Friday, July 4.
The Jule will not operate on Independence Day and the Intermodal Transportation Center will be closed. Parking meter expiration violations will not be enforced on the holiday.
Bunker Hill Golf Course will be open and hosting special events during the week of Independence Day; please call 563-589-4261 for details.
Both Flora and Sutton Pools will operate on reduced schedules on Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4.
