CUBA CITY, WI — On June 14, 2025, at approximately 12:18 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash on Model Road, east of County Highway H in Hazel Green Township.

Deputies determined that Taylor Droessler, 19, of Cuba City, was driving a 2009 Toyota Prius eastbound when he became distracted adjusting his radio. The vehicle drifted onto the south shoulder, and Droessler over-corrected, losing control. The Prius slid into the north-side ditch, struck the embankment, and rolled approximately three times before stopping in a corn field.

Droessler, who was wearing a seatbelt, exited the vehicle on his own and was transported to Southwest Health Center for treatment of injuries. Airbags did not deploy. The heavily damaged Prius was towed from the scene.

Hazel Green Fire Department, Hazel Green EMS, and Automotion Towing assisted. The crash remains under investigation.
