PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI – On June 6, 2025, at approximately 3:01 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred on Hwy 18 near Fuller Hollow Rd in Patch Grove Township, resulting in minor injuries and road blockage.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office reported that Cameron Laack, 17, of Dickeyville, was driving a 2016 Chevy Express Van westbound with Ariana Hauck, 19, of Lancaster, as a passenger. Abby Dye, 36, of Lancaster, was traveling eastbound in a 2018 Chevy Tahoe with a juvenile passenger.

Preliminary findings indicate Laack’s van crossed the centerline, causing a head-on collision. Both vehicles spun before stopping on the roadway. All occupants, wearing seatbelts, sustained minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals. Airbags deployed in both vehicles, which sustained severe damage and were towed.

Assisting at the scene were West Grant EMS, Bagley First Responders, Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance, Bloomington and Patch Grove Fire Departments, and Milo’s Towing. The crash remains under investigation.
