DUBUQUE, Iowa — A 29-year-old Dubuque man, Quasean Terrill Davis, was arrested early Sunday morning, June 8, 2025, on a charge of attempted first-degree burglary, a felony. The incident occurred at 103 E 25th St, according to police reports.

The arrest took place at 1:25 a.m. CDT, today, with Officer J. Kimball of the Dubuque Police Department taking Davis into custody. The charge, listed as “Attempted Burglary 1st Degree – Burglary/Breaking and Entering,” stems from an alleged attempt to unlawfully enter the property.

First-degree burglary in Iowa typically involves breaking into an occupied structure with intent to commit a felony, theft, or assault, often carrying severe penalties. Authorities have not released additional details about the incident, including whether anyone was present at the time or if any items were targeted.

Davis, remains in custody on a $10,000 cash bond as the investigation continues.
