DUBUQUE, IA – The Dubuque County Fair Board is thrilled to announce the 72nd Annual Dubuque County Fair, set to bring the “6 Best Days of Summer” to the tri-state area in late July or early August 2025. This week-long celebration will be packed with community-building activities, games, contests, carnival rides, music, entertainment, and more, offering something for everyone, from young children to adults.

The fair will feature a wide range of attractions, including 4-H/FFA events, tractor pulls, racing, and free entertainment such as concerts, ground acts, and track events—all included with admission. Attendees can also look forward to classic fair treats like corn dogs, funnel cakes, and cold beverages, alongside opportunities to relax, explore, and make lasting memories with friends and family.

Admission to the fair is free on Tuesday, with Wednesday through Sunday tickets priced at $12 for adults aged 12 and up, while children 11 and under enter free. “We’ve poured our hearts into these special six days, and we can’t wait to share it all with you,” the fair board shared in a statement. “Bring your littles, bring the grandkids, bring your friends and family for a week of excitement you won’t want to miss!”

Event brochures, detailing hour-by-hour daily schedules, will be available for pickup at the fair office or around the tri-state area starting June 15, 2025. They will also be posted on the fair’s website for easy access. As a non-profit event, the Dubuque County Fair relies on community support, and organizers are eager to welcome everyone to this beloved annual tradition.
