
UW-Platteville Wisconsin- On May 19, 2025, a 911 call reporting an issue at Wilgus Hall triggered a lockdown at UW Platteville, as stated by UW Police Chief Joseph Hellman. Officers quickly identified it as an isolated incident, with one person transported to a hospital. Due to an ongoing investigation by campus police, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, no further details were shared, leaving the campus community with unanswered questions.
Dr. Laura Reynolds, Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, announced the cancellation of final exams till next week Specific and that questions or concerns can be addressed to your faculty member, and the college deans are available to answer questions. Campus will remain open.
