DICKEYVILLE, Wis. — On Sunday, May 11, 2025, at approximately 4:34 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle crash in the 500 block of West Main Street, Dickeyville. Bruce Haas, 35, of Potosi, was driving a 1997 Pontiac Firebird northbound when he lost control and struck a legally parked SUV.

Two passengers were in Haas’ vehicle, including a juvenile who sustained minor injuries and was treated by Dickeyville EMS at the scene without needing hospital transport. Haas showed signs of impairment and was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated with a passenger under 16.

Dickeyville EMS and Donnie’s Tire and Auto assisted at the scene. Persons arrested by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. Victim and witness names are withheld per Wisconsin Statute §950.04.
