DUBUQUE, IA – Dutch Lane Road will be closed for a paving project beginning Monday, May 12, 2025, at 7:00 AM, affecting a 4.72-mile stretch. Contractor River City Paving will prep and pave intersections in Phase 1, including Hartbecke Rd, Bierman Rd, Lone Pine Rd (north and south sides), and Dutch Lane Rd, all intersecting with Hwy 20/52.
The asphalt paving is expected to take 1-2 weeks, weather permitting. The road will be fully closed during this period, with limited access for local traffic. Phase 2, covering the Asbury Rd, Lewis Rd, and Lore Mound Rd intersection, will follow the completion of Phase 1.
Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and exercise caution in the work zone. For updates, contact the Dubuque County Road Department.
