Dubuque, IA – April 29, 2025

County road crews have announced a temporary full closure of Derby Grange Road to address necessary infrastructure repairs. The affected stretch spans approximately 0.87 miles between Lewis Road and Lore Mound Road. The project is slated to begin at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.

To facilitate the repairs, the road will remain closed throughout the duration of the work zone. The closure is expected to last for about one day, though this timeline may be extended depending on weather conditions. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and allow extra travel time.

County officials appreciate the community’s patience as they work to maintain the local road network. For updates on this project and other road closures, residents are encouraged to stay informed through the county’s official communication channels.
