Dubuque, IA – April 10, 2025
Authorities in Dubuque arrested 23-year-old Connor Reese Miller early Friday morning following a series of events on Main Street. Miller faces multiple charges, including two counts of assault on persons in certain occupations, public intoxication, and interference with official acts.

The incidents began at approximately 2:42 a.m. in the 400-block of Main Street, where Officer Nathan Daniel, 33, was assaulted while on duty. Miller was apprehended at 450 Main Street around 3:13 a.m. The investigation into the assault remains active, while no injuries were reported in the interference charge.

Miller is currently not in custody and awaiting legal proceedings on a $5000 unsecured bond.
