Dubuque, Iowa — Authorities in Dubuque charged a 41-year-old man on Tuesday, March 4th, in connection with a pretrial supervision violation, according to local police reports.

Austin Andrew Goodman was charged on March 4, 2025, at approximately 1:01 p.m. The arrest occurred at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center at 770 Iowa Street, and Goodman faces a misdemeanor charge for violating the terms of his pretrial supervision.

Goodman, violated the terms of his release supervision when he was arrested on Monday March 3, 2025, at 6:50 PM at 350 W 6th St, Dubuque, IA. The charges against Goodman included:

1) Interference with official acts – weapon or firearm (m)

2) Assault on persons in certain occupations (m)

3) Possession of controlled substance – marijuana (first offense)

4) Persons ineligible to carry dangerous weapons (m)

5) Contempt – violation of no contact/protective order (m)

6) Interference with official acts – no injury/damage (m)

7) Contempt – violation of no contact/protective order (m)


Update- Wednesday Austin Andrew Goodman (W/M/40) was arrested again on March 5, 2025, at 770 Iowa St, Dubuque, IA, for charges of Contempt-Contemptuous Behavior Toward the Court and Mittimus (M).
