This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central

Illinois…northwest Illinois…west central Illinois…east central Iowa…northeast Iowa…southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri.

.DAY ONE…TONIGHT

A few thunderstorms are possible across the Outlook area late this evening and overnight. The primary threat is lightning with a secondary threat of isolated small hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

A few thunderstorms are possible Tuesday and Tuesday night.

Severe weather is not currently anticipated. Heavy rainfall

Tuesday afternoon and evening could lead to standing water inpoorly drained areas, ditches and fields, and produce mainlywithin bank rises on streams, creeks and rivers. Isolated flooding cannot be ruled out where the rainfall is heaviest.

Late Tuesday night through Wednesday, strong northwest windswill develop and become sustained at 25 to 35 mph with gustsover 50 mph possible. In addition, as colder air moves in therain will change over to snow for a period of time. The strong winds combined with the falling snow may lead to periods of low visibility. Any snow accumulations would appear to be light, with the probability for 2 inches or more of snow at 20 to 50 percent northwest of a Cedar Rapids to Dubuque line.
